[ViX_Misc] Any shortcut to start/stop recordings?

Hello,
Do you know if there is any remote shortcut to start/stop recordings in the Openvix?
I mean "Add a Recording (indefinitely)", not "Add a Recording (current event)".
Yes I know that it can be done via Recording menu, but such shortcut would be easier due to my visual impairements.
So, to start a new recording I must press Record key, then down to "2. Add a recording (indefinitely)" and press OK.
Not a big problem, but if no event data is found the procedure is a little bit different: after pressing Record, the first item is not present so no Down key pressing is needed, and after the recording is started I must press Exit because the window "No data event found" remains opened on the TV screen.
Same to stop current recording. The item "7. Stop recording" could become the 8th one.
These are not so diffidult operations, but having such shortcut could be useful.
Also, how can I deactivate the trash in the Openvix? Looking for the chance to permanently delete recordings from the drive immediately. Thanks.

Not here that often, so the reply is kind of late.

Not sure if this can help with your main question, as I'm only a normal user, but maybe one of the options in Menu - SetUp - User-Interface - Button-Setup could help.
Once in there, press the record-button on the remote.
Then go to the 2nd line <+Infobar> and click OK.
Scroll down to the next page, as I've seen some options having to do with recording there: Instant Record - Start Instant Recording - Start Timeshift - Stop Timeshift - and a few others.
(I've not done that, as I like it how it is now.)
If none of those would be of help to you, maybe the programmers could add an extra setting in the recording menu, as to set the default behaviour when the Record-button is pressed. That then f.e. would always be option 1, or could indeed instantly start the recording on the current channel.

Regarding not using the Trash-can, that is a setting, but you can only get there when you are in the PVR-list of your recordings.
Then press the MENU button on your remote.
In the new window, the first item should be SETTINGS.
Choose that.
First choice in those settings, is to use the trash-can Yes or No, which is what you'd prefer, if I understand your question correctly.

Did not thought to assign such custom key on the remote to reach my goal.
I will try during the next days.
My second question (how do not use the trash) was replied (and solved) in another thread.
