Apollo 25 update

I have a VU+ Duo 2 box and have just tried to update to apollo 25 via USB flash. It all starts to work then gets stuck on "flashing image".
Ive now had to revert to apollo 24 using the same method which works fine.
Anyone else had a problem like this? Ive never had an issue before on any update.

Try to update with Image Manager instead of an external USB stick.

Build 025 will require a complete fresh flash and setup with NO RESTORE.

You can still update the build with Image Manager, but the important thing as said above is NOT to select the restore option.

The reason for trying the Image Manager to update is that it eliminates any possible problems you might be having with a USB upgrade

Try it, if you still have problems, please report back here.

Updated yesterday to 025 without a problem but cant get the EPG settings to recognise the USB storage stick ?
Only given HDD and internal flash as options.
Also, had some problems with CCCam, although not sure that these were related to the update.
Have reverted to 023 for the time being.

Yes, and working welll with 023

After install 25 , I had to remount my usb stick again.It was shown as mounted but not recognized.All worked fine except streaming.Went back to 24 and all oke.

updated to build 25 last night from image manager everything went ok no problems, this morning checked for updates, I noticed there were upgrades showing and downloaded contents it wouldn't let me view upgrades so ok'd download thinking it was to sort out bugs etc
seemed to download ok then said box needs to reboot. box rebooted but all i'm getting now is vix looping.
tried to reinstate build 24 from usb stick wont boot just loops. I have the octagon 1000+ any ideas please

This section is for the VU+ Duo you might be better off starting a new Thread Headed Octagon 1000+ and you might get more replies just trying to Help

Just flashed apollo 26 and worked a treat, must have been an issue with 25 on my duo2.
