[VU+ Solo2] Back up/restore

Is it possible to take a back up of my settings from my VU Solo2 and 'restore' them to my newly purchased VU Zero ?

I'm not certain if you can do this via the menu backup settings option but if not you can get your recordings from "/etc/enigma2" and you're looking for autotimers.xml and timers.xml (or something along those lines).

Also, if you can't use settings backup/restore then you could probably get away with copying the "settings" file in the same folder as mentioned for the (auto)timers. The settings file itself may not contain all settings you use (especially for any 3rd party plugin).

You would have to re-install any plugins you use though.

It's not advised to use settings from one box on a different model.
You can copy some if you know what you're doing but why not just set-it up from scratch?
