[TM-2T] Background update check & crashing box

Good Afternoon,

I have recently upgraded my TM-2T to Apollo 77. We watched TV all last night without any issues whatsoever (although I did have a problem with a recording) but when I booted up this morning, the box randomly crashes if the internet is switched on.
I noticed briefly that the log report stated that the connection was denied but also there was a background check being performed.
When it rebooted I switched the background check off and tried to roll back to 73 or 74 which worked fine. Each time it tried to restore, it said there was a background check being performed.
Nothing has changed between switching off last night to switching on again 8hrs later.
Therefore, I'm very confused.

When I get home, I will perform a fresh flash without a restore and completely wipe my HDD in the hope that will fix the ailment.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with 77?

Plugins and settings restore would not have worked because the server they were housed on was hacked into and our host took it down as a precaution, we are now in the process of uploading a backup of the feeds to the server again but this will take a few hrs to complete.

No a reflash will not wipe your hard disk unless you choose to initialise the drive.
