First a little history; I bought the box from WOS and had to send it back, it kept locking up when any form of networking was required. As requested by Stef I sent it back. At the time Stef confirmed there was an issue with wifi in 6.9.2 openvix, he re-flashed it to 6.8.009 and returned it to me. After a couple of days I sent this to Stef=
Good day Stef, As I told you earlier the box did exactly the same, locked up when accessing plugins?? I bit the bullet and stretched an Ethernet cable across my floor and proceeded to configure the box, so far so good. Now I could putty into the box and start exploring my issues. With some help from AI it was determined that the wifi was connecting and shutting down? My home wifi setup is wifi 7, I use a tplink router as a modem and an Asus RT-BE58U as my router, I turned on the wifi of the tplink router and set up dedicated channel (wifi 5) for the Gigablue and connected it and it performed as expected, it would appear that the gigablue cant sustain a wifi 7 connection. Next I needed to add a HD to the box, the box would not detect it. After much buggering about it turns out the caddy does not push the HD in far enough to connect properly, I placed a matchstick between the caddy and HD and plugged it in and it worked fine, looking at the caddy to carry the HD it is flimsy for a high end box. Hopefully this helps if anyone else has problems. Thanks for your help. Graham.
After a few days the box played up again after flashing 6.9.003 to a fresh slot I decided to install a usb wifi adapter and configure it to my network, so far perfect, IPTV now works and the box is much more responsive.
I have one strange problem now, when the info bar comes up at the bottom of the screen there is a small green light indicating an update is available but there are no updates available ? Any ideas? Thanks gws.
Attached is an updated manual in English if it helps anyone.
