Can log into webif over internet, can't watch any channels

Hi,

I've been at this for 2 days and about 6 hours now. Any help appreciated. I know there are tons of posts on this but for some reason this isn't working for me.

I have solo2, with Vix latest image. I've set up OpenWebif on port 924. I've set up transcoding on port 8002. I've port forwarded these on my router to the Vusolo2 box.

I have a fixed ip address so I'm just using that. If I go to http://myip:924 I get to the webif page, it prompts me for my login so I enter root, password and hey presto I'm in my box fine over the internet outside of my LAN.

First thing if I try to watch a channel over the net now, I can't on either of the two options in open webif (stream or transcode)

Secondly I have tried using the enigma-tv app but if I enter my server ip (i.e. myip) the port (924) and the Stream port (8001) and my root password It can't connect to my server.

I can't understand this second point as I have validated everything is correct by being able to log into my box remotely onto webif...

Please help!

For streaming to work correctly, the webif port *must* be set to 80.
