There could be many reasons, such as is the receiver genuine or a clone ? or have you at any time updated the bootloader to enable the receiver to use Kernel 3.1.1 images ?.
we really do need more information from you if you want us to offer help, otherwise we may as well just sit here and guess what the problem could be.
