Just to be clear, my question was not whether the EPG is the same, my question was whether those two channels are the same. I.e if you select them, are they the same program on the TV. Nothing to do with EPG.

If two different channels use the same EPG, there is an error in the linkage.
If there are identical channels but only one of them has EPG, we create a linkage for the one with missing epg

The EPG is grabbed by Doglover. He said there was no EPG on the website for those channels. Best you post on the other forum. You post should be:
Channel (insert name of channel) has no EPG data
The service reference for the channel is is (insert service reference)
The EPG data is hosted on the following website (provide link to website)

It would be an idea to upload your epg importer log too.

I cant access the satellite, so I am unable to physically check

Hi, and good morning, a quick update, having doglover on the other forum helping me I can now say that the Cyprus RIKSat and RIK channel EPG information work quite well and just like to offer my sincere thanks to @abu baniaz for his considerable help.

Just out of interest how do I access the EPGimport log, I understand it is to be found in /tmp/folder.
I have used Filezilla to access the sat box and looked in the /var/volatile/tmp folder but cannot locate the log, any help much appreciated.

After it runs, access the plugin, press menu, confirm show log, It should save the file in the /tmp directory. However, this is not working in the version of plugin we use on ViX and other OE-A images following the changes made to it recently. We will look into it.
