[VU+ Solo2] Having problems getting full EPG on Sky channels

Hello my Box is working almost perfect i have all the channels plus the EPG sub folders, sports/news/music etc and on Free view channels i get the full 7 Day EPG

but when i switch to my sky channels all i get is the next 2 programs

i have followed the 2 great tutorials How to set up CrossEPG for Sky uk on Vix 3.0 pdf - and ABM Tutorial Draft 1 pdf to the letter but still no luck getting all the sky EPG Listings

what am i doing wrong their must be something that i am missing, the EPG is saved to my Internal Hard Drive should i delete them from the drive and use a USB Stick
i am at a loss i do not want to do a full re flash as i will lose all my sky channels as i got a friend to set them up for me and we are not allowed to talk about it

i set ABM Tutorial Exactly has it was written in the tutorial as it was set for Tyne tees which is my reign the box is fantastic and performs better than i had hoped and it is only this one item that is spoiling it for me and i relay do not fancy getting up at 5am to set the recorder for the 1st F1 race

Those are bouquet/channel list folders, not EPG folders. Although EPG data will be displayed based on the channel lists/bouquets, they are two different things.

Does not matter where you save epg, either HDD or USB.

What settings have you got for the epg and cross epg?

i set them up exactly as the ABM Tutorial said
one other point that i forgot to mention, when i start the CrossEPG and press Download now i get Timeout for tuner lock and i get services 0 video 0radio and it dose not seem to scan for channels

Is your issue ABM or EPG?

If EPG forget ABM for now.

it is only the EPG as i am getting all the channels and a 7 day EPG on Free view its only the sky channels i am having problems with

Suggests your tuners aren't set up correctly or are currently being used.
How have you set them up & have you feeds going to both tuners?

i only have the 1 cable going to tuner A both tuners set as - simple /single/ 28.2E/no

should i try a re scan i know that i have about 950 channels

In that case, put the cable into Tuner B & set tuner A as loopthrough to B.

now i have the full sky 7 day EPG but no sky channels work i have done a restart a cold reboot turned off at the back and still no sky channels only the EPG information

going to revert back to tuner A and reload my original image file back in looks like i have lost what i am not allowed to talk about

when i reverted back to tuner A i re installed my original image file and still did not have any sky channels only the 7 day EPG
when i reloaded my Back up file i got all my sky channels and the 7 day EPG :thumbsup: so i did a IMAGE and Backup on the Hard Drive and a USB Stick

Something wrong in your set-up so.
If you want to use loopthrough on the Solo2, connect the cable to Tuner B & set Tuner A as loopthrough.
Then set up ABM & EPG from scratch.

If you want to use the Solo2 at its best, add a feed to both tuners.

at the moment judge everything seems to be working fine so for the time being i think i will leave it as it is
i am going to fit my 85cm Gibertini Dish/ Inverto Black Ultra/18" T&K Brackets soon
but i will have to change the inverto black to a Dual or Quad feed as at the moment i am using a Sky dish,
i also have a Dark Motor Supreme but i do not think that i will watch many other Satellite programs as all the ones that i need are on 28.2E
so i might just set it up as a fixed Dish for the time being, and then i will be able to use the Fantastic VU+Solo2 to its full potential
i will be receiving a 1 TB Hard Drive on Monday to replace the internal 200gig that i have at the moment + my 500gig External Drive will be the perfect set up :thumbsup:
