Hbbtv, Opera browser and Youtube TV do not work on Hades 14. They both worked on Hades 13. They are also working with the latest OpenATV 5.0 build.
Wnen trying to activate the HbbTV extensions, a message appears, that says something about hbbtv browser needs to be activated. Restarting the box does not help.

I confirm that the bug is also on Vu+ Duo2 / Hades 14.

When HbbTV is invoked a message appears:

HbbTV Browser was not running
Please running browser before start HbbTV Application.

Also if I open Opera Browser and try to open url a message appears:

Opera Browser was not running.
Please running browser using [File]>[Start/Stop] menu.

When I do the above I see:

Please choose one.
1 Start

If I choose Start, the message goes away but the problem remains.

You can work-around this by:
1) deleting the symlink libcrypto.so.0.9.8 from /lib
2) adding the attached file libcrypto.so.0.9.8 to /lib

No need to restart; go to extensions, start the browser, and from now on hbbTV will work.

We hope to have a fix for this in the next update :)

Thank you, Rob. It does work now.

Does not work in latest version (build 16) but works if libcrypto.so.0.9.8 supplied by Rob is transferred to /lib :)

Have tried putting robs libcrypto.so.0.9.8 in to /lib on my Duo2 which is on hades 18 and browser stars working fine again but then when it comes to rebooting it the system gets to 99% on front screen then just turns itself off even if i switch off on back panel it wont get past the 99%

works here. i'm on 018 as well with rob's libcrypto. only difference: i put libcrypto on 016 and online upgraded to 018.
