Help!

Tried updating tp 043 using the inbuilt menu. It stuck on a screen for about 30 mins. Turned off. Now loads to 100% and is stuck there just keeps showing the loading 98,99,100, 98,99,100 etc

Now I have tried flashing from usb and it doesn't see the stick!!!!!!

You dont say what box you have or anything else previouse images
you could however download image from top menu ..vix images
you will also need the bootloader which must be entered on a formatted usb stick
then the image you need after bootloader theres help how to do this just do a search on top right

As per the support form at the top, it's a Technomate nano 3t Combo, had 041 apollo on, went through menu to upgrade to 043 apollo. Bootloader is latest version.

mine when i got it didnt seem to reconize usb did work after persistance

I have the tech nano oe what i normally do is download updated image
downloaded bootloader for your device please note the 2 files are called update
so on pc do bootloader on flashed usb should come up on box press "ok" on box
then when bootloader done
do the same with image but format usb 1st
it should work hope it works

3t combo is a new box mate, no bootloader on the vix downloads

Don't think any bootloaders have been released for the 3T?
Search the forums for HP Format Tool & format your USB with that, then try flashing again.

Tried that judge - does it need a full format every time?

It's in the process of flashing PLi. Why will it see pli but not Vix?

Did you not sort out your USB stick? Can you confirm only one USB device is connected?

What is folder layout of what youhave transferred?

Ok, flashed pli. Then loaded vix on to usb and now flashing that. How weird

Only one usb.
Update folder - open it and get force1plus - open that and get cfe - open that and get imageversion, oe_kernel, oe_rootfs etc etc

Vix is back! Had to flash 4d / pli to make it recognise the usb for some reason.
