Got a strange issue that I can't seem to figure out.
Setup is, HDMI directly into Panasonic TV, Optical into 5.1 Yamaha amp. I have had this setup working no problem before but on the previous versions of software such as Apollo.
I have DTS/DD downmix to off, but AAC downmix on.
When I tune to a 5.1 HD channel I get no sound at all, if I then press the audio button on the remote, change downmix to on, I get sound (all be it in stereo). I then switch downmix to off again, select the AC3 track, and then a few seconds later I get the proper 5.1 signal through my amp.
Sometimes I have to change the channel selection from stero to left or right, then back to stero again and the 5.1 then drops in. I have also tried playing with the AAC downmix setting but that seems to make no difference.
Is this some driver bug that has been introduced or something qwerky with my setup? Really hope someone else is seeing this.
