Motorised Dish an Tuner A and Single Satellite Dish on Tuner B settings

Which are the correct Vu+Duo tuner configuration settings in Menu/Setup/Service searching/Tuner configuration which allow me to run a MOTORISED DISH on Tuner A and a SINGLE SATELLITE DISH on Tuner B ? Ive got configuration mode 'Advanced' selected on Tuner A for the motorised dish, that seems to be okay. How do I set Tuner B - 'simple', 'loopthrough to' 'equal to' 'advanced' - i'm not clear on this.

Strangely it does not matter whether they are both set to simple or both to advanced or one to simple, one to advanced - all options work.

Definitely though, do not set either to 'loopthrough to' or 'equal to'

One thing you must do is to set one to LNB1 and the other to LNB2 - you do this in the Tuner settings menu.

Iam not at home at the moment so cant check this out right now, but one observation - yesterday I was working with 'advanced' on Tuner 1 and 'advanced' on Tuner 2 - when I selected Picture-in-Picture (Pip) I was only able to view any two channels on the same transponder, other channels weren't available. If both dishes were working then surely I should be able to watch two channels on different transponders, even two channels on differest satellites.

So both tuners can use the same LNB-number, while the actual configuration is different.

Yes, but in your case only limited.
Your fixed dish only looks at one satellite, so this would only apply for watching + PiP on that satellite. And the motor should be configured for that satellite as well.

In the configuration of both tuner you use LNB1 (or any other number you like )
For one tuner that config will be USALS, probably assigning all satellites to it (or any satellite you want to be able to look at, including 28.2E). The other tuner only has 28.2E (fixed dish).
