[ViX_Misc] Narrator voice on Virgin channels

as of yesterday update was released to the cable_uk_virgin.xml by OE-alliance this does work for the channels that have no ac3 but on the other channels you have no picture so its not working correctly a work in progress I had to revert back to the original. I have changed the audio pids with dreambox editor but when sent to the box no change in the audio channels available and the picture goes blank as well.

then try e-channeliser, dreambox edit & dreamset didn't work for me, e-channeliser did for me, having said that I'm in Ireland, only 4 channels affected, no audio.My post was intended to help a member who had problem getting e-channeliser to work properly, not a fix, just a help with a workaround,

Using OSCAM now. However does anyone know how to speed up channel changing as it’s taking around 5-10 seconds now.

something id also like to know. have u started getting loads of freezing since switching to oscam, mines really bad.

Bad config files most likely. You need to spend time with it.

Hi, thanks. if i post my config file and remove my username and password will you have a look and say where im going wrong, the guy i got the vm line off did it and told me to just paste it into oscam.server , but its very very slow at changing channels and massive freezing/glitching sound going off, pic going off, was perfect with mgcamd, cheers.

This thread is now closed, a more permanent fix will be in OpenViX 5.1.002. New image line 5.1 coming in next couple of days. First release will most likely be 5.1.002.
