The issue regarding HDMI-CEC is down to number of variable, TV make, TV model, HDMI cable used, now personally I have the same issue on a not so old LG tv but on Samsung a TV it behaves differently this is could be down to software on tv or the version of hdmi cable. This is a small plugin that im not really fussed about, but if you feel you really need it start a dedicated thread as already mentioned and post everything that you have tried and tested not just simply that it doesnt work.

The alternative is to get a the new universal remote for the DUO which I believe allows you to programme your remote to your brand of tv iirc.

Did you try it with VTi or other non openPLi based images? Its reported to work without issue on VTi. So Im suggesting the developers take a look into the VTi's implementation. I already tried all the settings combinations.

Anyway thanks for the alternative VU+ remote idea.

VTI as with BH build their images directly from Vu's own source image, hence have access to Vu's very own plugins and code for such plugins. This can sometimes be a problem for images such as ours as Vu's way of implementing such code may not be fully compatible with our own. so simply grabbing plugins or features from VTI or BH is not always the best option and can have a detrimental effect on our image if we did so.

Do I need to buy official vu wifi dongles for this image or are others supported.

Thanks

Anyone having issue with Power Management, have my box to go into standby at 02:30 but noticed it was still on this morning after upgrading to .312

Same here, mine was supposed to go off at 1.00 and was still on this morning

I'm just bumping my post from a couple of days ago, i hope no one minds. I'd love to download build 268 but I keep getting the problem outlined above. anyone any ideas?

Image downloads via the image manager should now be fixed in build 316

Hi All.. I am having some issues with the version 3 image...I updated it from 2.3 because channels were freezing from time to time. Now my channel list has gone and my volume buttons do not work. Any ideas?

The process of flashing a new image would erase any previous settings etc, so that explains the missing channel list. Just send a new bouquet to the receiver. As for the volume check to see if HDMI-CEC is enabled and if so turn it off.

Sorry to raise this chestnut again - but the feeds..... Loaded Vix OE3.0 Thurs or Fri last week on my Duo and probably only seen the feeds up for a few hours on one day, so far.
Not grumbling, just saying.
If peebs are working on improving/tweaking the image - that's cool - but just wondered if it is just me or the same for everyone??

Cheers,

MD

as has been pointed out the feeds went down for the Duo unexpectedly, we then fixed this issue and manually placed all feeds on unstable as the new updates were uploaded, however once we set the feeds to stable all but the duo came back up. we are not sure as to why but we are looking into the problem and trying to fix it.

The Duo feeds are now back online, Just tested with my own Duo via a software update.

Not working for me.
on 294.

You may have the software update set to stable in which case when the image is marked a unstable feeds will not be accessible.

You could set them to unstable but only update if the icon flashes green - this way you will have access to the feeds

unfortunately that doesn't appear to be the problem.
Have manually upgraded to 319 but the feeds are still goosed.

no, updates are being uploaded to the server as as a result the feeds have been set to the unstable state, although i cant test as i'm at work.

Ok, tonite I was forced to flash to 3.0 build 319 (suddently my perfect 2.4 DUO stuck on starting, but I've a good backup of it ;) just in case).

Anyhow, I've an issue and did not found anybody else reporting to be affected with:
pressing right or left arrow for QuickEPG makes enigma crash.
This happens both with default skin and Magic HD lite.

While writing down this post I upgraded to build 321 and the issue is no more there.
