[VU+ Duo] No EPG only now & next

Since setting up my vu duo the other week i am comfortably viewing channels. The problem being is the EPG. I go in to it and it only displays now and next for certain channels until i view a channel but still will not be able to see past now and next on any channel. I thought this was supposed to be 7 day epg guide? Can any one explain or help with this? Thanks guys.
( i was using cross but recently switched to XMLTV to see if this helped but no different. My location in Manchester UK on SkyUK only)

Something wrong with your set-up so as Cross works perfectly for SKY UK.

no i had not read the tutorial but thanks for the guidance. Im up and running now with full guide :thumbsup:
