Oh bloody hell what have I done. Installed opkg tools and webinterface - restart loop

Help (2nd post in as many days)

I installed opkg tools and webinterface from plugins to get TSmedia working. Totally ballsed up....

Not sure what to do.

Restart loop - box starts - see an info bar and then sorry encountered a software problem. It's done it like 10 times now.

EDIt - it's saying plugin servicerecorder not found and a another... damn!

I would just reflash the receiver, you can get the image from www.openvix.co.uk and make a full image backup once you have it setup so if you do balls up again you can restore back to the working image.

An update - have managed to fix it.

FTP into the box. Went into plugins/extensions and deleted the webinterface folder as a shot. It freaking worked.

I thought I'd do that before a reflash.

Sorry everyone for an unnecessary thread.

Though why would the webinterface plugin cause this? To be fair am not even sure what it does. As the say the best way to learn is by ****ing things up.

you dont need the webinterface plugin, the OpenWebinterface is already built into the image, It allows you to remotely access the receiver and watch channels via your browser etc.
