hope you can help.i have just updated to vix 6.7.011 on vu solo with 500gb hdd.
but for some reason only able to use 16gb on hdd?cant see movies anywhere seems to be gone.
was getting message when updated about timeshift unable to start.
totally confused?

sure it is your HDD and not a usb stick ? Look in mountings

Over the years I've seen something similar a couple of times after a upgrade. The hard disk has gone missing and the box assumes that the usb stick plugged into the back of the box is the only storage device.

Solution 1: Cold boot the box. Put it into deep standby, pull the mains plug, wait 60 seconds for all internal voltages to discharge, reinstate the power from the mains. Check that the HDD has been automatically mounted again. I have found this has worked for me after a version upgrade.
Solution 2: As suggested by others, menu/setup/vix/mount manager/ highlight the HDD and press Blue to mount.
