[VU+ Duo4K SE] Openvix 6.8.007 crash can't restore or flash

I updated to the latest Vix 6.8.007 and found I can't restore a settings backup from Backup Manager or Flash a previously made working (6.8.006) image.

I re-flashed 6.8.007 in case it was just a glitch as I've not seen any forum posts about this. I was able to make and restore and settings backup until I did a full image backup. Then I was back to not being able to do both (settings restore/flash).

I've attached the crash logs of the 2 attempts I made. I see where it says failed but it doesn't mean anything to me. Maybe you can see why.

Try changing the skin. Simple Ten Eighty skin may be the problem. Change the skin and retry.

OK, all sorted. Sorry I took so long getting back to you. I tried various skins and I didn't have the issue. So I did a fresh install of 6.8.007 and re-installed the Simple Ten Eighty skin again didn't add any of my personal modifications and it didn't have the issue.

It took me a while, but found some odd code in my skin_user_Simple_Ten_Eighty.xml file that shouldn't be there. I don't know how or when it got added. So I have thoroughly tested both restoring settings and flashing a saved image and all is working fine again.

I don't get it. That was fixed weeks ago long before this version. Try a flash and restore. Or update the skin.xml.
