OpenViX online update and plugin feeds

To all OpenViX users, as you might have noticed we having an issue with our online plugins / update feeds server.

At the moment it looks like the server bandwidth is not enough for us. A new server is higher bandwidth is currently in the process of being setup.

This may take a few days to complete.

DNS has just been switched to new server, we could get some downtime while the new IP propagates.

Further update, work on the server is on going.

With immediate affect we're sorry to say there will be no more support for any XP1000 images and all plugin feeds for these have been taken offline and will be deleted. These feeds have been getting abused by a number clones.

The following changes have been made for now, but will be reviewed once feeds are back up to speed:
Offline plugin servers
OpenViX 4.0
Hades
Apollo
OpenViX 3.2

(Apart for receivers where support ended at 3.2)

• GB Solo
• GB 800SE
• GB 800UE
• Mara M9
• Venton Unibox
• VU+ Solo

You can disable the background update check if you do not want to flash latest image (yet).

Menu > Setup > System > Software Update Settings > Background check > Change this to no

Further update, work on the server is ongoing. Plugin feeds are working but speeds of the feeds can vary.
We are working on this issue and hope to have it resolved soon.
