My box was using vix image 032, but before I did the upgrade using the software updater built into the vix software my internal Flash had 365M of free memory.
So I updated the the image using software updater to the 036 image. once that had updated i use the restore wizard to get back my plugins which is only 2 or 3 plugins not many.
Then I though I would do a copy of my New image for backup to the hdd and the box just would not do it.
So checked the information setting and my box now had only 1.2M of free flash space I just did not know where it had all gone. on doing the update my box had lost all the free memory which I had before using the software update.
So now i have just done a fresh flash with image 036 from usb stick and put the same restore plugins and my box has again now 365m free space.
There was no way of freeing the used memory that the image must of used from the updater even powering the box of completely would not free it. only by doing a fresh flash I could get my internal memory free again.
so from now on Fresh flash only cause once you loss your internal memory space the box may not boot or do much else.
