[VU+ Solo] Reflash not working

Hi
I am getting the VIX logo spinning and locking quite quickly after boot so trying to reflash with latest version.
I put the VUplus folder on a fat32 usb stick (any version) and the box boots goes green light and continues to load without flashing?? tried many usb sticks always getting the same problem? anyone else come by this before??

I have read they're fussy about usb sticks.

I use DataTraveler G3 without a problem but I did try several other usb sticks before this that didn't work.

yep fussy they are ,integral or cruzer 8gb usb sticks i use,note of warning if using old firmware now check to see if new bootloader is needed first in downloads,do that first and then image and follow the guides.
