SD channels not good

I am running a VU+ Duo with latest VIX, and is very happy with that, but I have a big TV (63")
and all the HD channels look very good, but all the normal channels look very "grainy".
Are there any settings in the VU+ which can improve the picture?

There are some in the Av and there video enhancement at the end of the menu, tbh, SD is going to hard to improve on such a big telly.
