[XP1000] Software Update

Hi can anyone help?

I've been trying to do a software update for a the past week and always get the same message saying feeds are down for maintenance, I also get the same message when I’m trying to download plugins.

Is it that the software update and plugins are permanently not working / down or is something to do this my box.

As per my previous post, I’m not very tech mind.

How about you start by posting correct info please.

What is the ViX Build Version that you are using? Please provide the ViX image Version that you are using. Menu > Information > About > Version. E.g. OpenViX 3.0, Zeus, Helios... ENTER THIS NAME.

Openvix 3.0 feeds where removed a while back.

Re-flash and use latest Apollo http://www.world-of-satellite.com/enigma2/openvix/index.php?dir=MaxDigital-XP1000/

Assuming you are using a MaxDigital Xp1000, if not find the correct image here http://www.world-of-satellite.com/enigma2/openvix/index.php?dir=

Feeds are currently down due to an issue.

Really sorry to be an idiot, but how?? everything was set up for me by cousin who has now moved away so I'm left to sort it out by myself.

Would I find this in Image Manager as I have 2 zip files in there
xp1000-3.0.775-20131106_204027.zip
openvix-3.0.775-xp1000_usb.zip

apologies again, I have now downloaded the file you have suggested, but need to know how I get it on the box, is it put on USB and open it from there.???

Hi, if I've done this right in re-flashing the boot, the box is now going through its set up process and scanning channels.

Is his right??

Also I took out my usb key as per the guide, do I put my original usb key back in box after it has gone through all its process.

probably need to format the usb to fat32 to setup for mounting and using epg and swap file.always start from scratch with a clean usb
