Arcy, there are two parts. Enigma2 (multistream) support. Kernel/drivers support. Enigma2 part should be compatible with any future device. Ķernel/drivers part is something that needs adding in oe-aliance core and should be trivial once a patch is available.

Any progress on drivers for the TBS5927 in the openvix image. I have the TBS 5927 tuner which I got instead of the TBS5925 which it replaced and then discovered it could not be used as there were no images with the drivers. Any progress would be appreciated, or at least some indication of when a driver is likely to appear.

Having searched for the linux drivers I have found reference to https://github.com/tbsdtv/linux_media.wiki.git which has the following info:

Downloading and building

make dir DIR=../media

Firmware

Upgrading sources and re-installing

~/media_build $ git remote update
~/media_build $ git pull
~/media_build $ make
~/media_build $ sudo make install
(now you can reboot or unload/reload modules manually
~/media_build $ sudo reboot

Whilst I will have a go and can usually deal with fine tuning images to my circumstances (VUduo2 with 2 fixed dishes and a combination of normal and unicable LNBs) I have no experience or knowledge about how to do what is necessary to create the necessary driver.
