[VU+ Duo2] spinning VIX and audio descriptions

I seem to sit watching the VIX logo spinning a lot recently, press a button on the remote and everything pauses for a few seconds then the spinning VIX appears, for what seems like quite a while sometimes, it possibly happens most when 'EPG' is pressed but other buttons produce it as well, so wondered if there might be any fix for it.

Also, the audio keeps switching back to 'narrative' , is there any way to set it to normal for all channels as a default.

Edit: VIX image, Helios 17, this keeps disappearing from the form at the top.

The Duo2 shouldn't be slowing down like this, it has plenty of horsepower.
What plugins have you installed? Have you opened any ports on your network for streaming? Has the flash filled up with anything?

Also for the audio - Menu -> Setup -> System -> Auto language selection -> Prefer audio service stored by service = no.

Plug-in's are: Dream Explorer, IPTV list updater, OnDemand, TS Media, CCcam 2.3 & one for reading NTFS files sys on usb drives, can't remember name, these are the ones I have installed in addition to the plug-in's that are installed as standard.
Free mem is 732100 & free flash mem is 775.8M
