Thinking of getting a Technomate

Hello I have been using Vu boxes running Linux and was thinking of installing a Technomate box for easiness. Could someone answer a few questions please

Are they very easy to setup and are softcams installed in image as or do they need to be downloaded?

I use Vhannibal motor channel list settings at present on my VU, can I download the same channel lists on the Technomate and how?

I have heard that they run on 4th Dimension software is this only on the latest boxes or can this be loaded onto the older Tm600 as well?

Which T-Me boxes as they make linux and non linux ones.

Proper e2 you will be fine but nit all images Have softcam preinstalled do you may have to do it manually.

TM-600 is an E1 receiver, it does not have 4D images, they use IQ images, last image can be found here
