Hi, before I start I would like to say how much I love the Vix image! I know when new images come out there are bugs but there can be many bugs in Vix but I will NOT RUN to another image! Because the ease of use with the Vix image is out of this world 
and trust me I have tried other images in the past when I first started testing images and nothing comes close to the Vix image not even that hole image sorry forgot the name. 
Know to the problem this could be a possible bug for the Openvix Helios 010. The problem is in Transcoding Setup there is a option called "Encoder 0 Level" the default is set to 3.1 (please note Encoder 1 options are the same as Encoder 0). When the settings of the Level are changed to "low" you cannot transcode a channel at all and on the receiver in my case Vu+Duo2 it says "recording is in progress" even though am not recording anything. I tried this couple of times to be 100% sure I kept switching between the default 3.1 and low and every time it was on 3.1 it would transcode a channel but on low it would not. I do not know if this is a possible bug or just that the "Level" can't be set on low but then again this option shouldn't be there then as the only effect it is having is not transcoding a channel. Just a side note I will admit I did not try any of the other settings in Level just the low setting.
