Please, help to configure vu+ Uno 4k se to record multiple paid channels simultaneously.
Now only one paid channel can be recorded, but another cannot be even watched at the same time.
Free channels do not have this restriction, they can be recorded and watched normally.
Thank you very much!

That is limitation of CI+ modules. In most cases they can decode only ONE channel at the same time.
Nothing to do with the image or drivers.
So nothing can be done.

Hello,

there is this option at menu of MovieSelection : "Start offline decode". What is that for ?

This is to record all the data including ecms and using the module for decoding the channel afterwards.
But is still not possible to record and watch different channels simultanious.

If I understand the matter correctly, multiple channels could be recorded (with ecm) simultaneously all still encrypted, and then later using the decryption capability for one recording at a time or for the channel you are watching.
I have read that some systems for this Uno 4k se decrypt such recording automatically afterwards.
The settings menu gives such setting selection for the CI module.
Actually in our box we had such an image from another provider and this feature was working ok, but the system had some other serious problems and we wanted to give a chance to OpenViX.

Yes well you have to try that in openvix. I have never tried it.
Still not real solution though. CI modules are not suitable for recording. Only for watching single channel.

AB-Com claim dual watching and recording via CI / CI+ with their receivers. I'll need to test this with OpenViX. I'm under the impression this would be driver / hardware dependant.

The CI/CI+ module have to support more than one service decoding simultaneous. 99% of the modules however doesnt.
