Got this vm hub installed as the old modem was dead, im using this with vu duo box wired.
When I turn the box in standby at night I have restart thr cams in the morning vias the blue button and restarting it for it to work
.in my vm hub chsnged the lease from one day to a week but still same problem.
No problem on the old wired set up earlier
Any help
Ps the hub works fine in modem mode but my belkin n router was giving slow wireless speeds around 1 mb so had to take it out of the setup

If i remember rightly from what i have read you have to not only assign a static ip address to the Vu+ Solo you also have to assign an LAN IP address and port in the Superhub including assigning the Vu+ Solos MAC address.

I've never used that part of the Superhub, as soon as i got it i just put it straight into modem only mode and connected my Wireless router to it. The wireless range on the superhub was crap also, which is an even bigger reason not to use it.

Through my router i get perfect wireless all round the house and good connection speeds all round.

@Punisher Where are you any comments
My belkin router is F5D8230-4 running latest firmware this router was giving me slow speeds
Any hints tito sort the vm superhub to stay on all the time

I would suggest getting a new router. I have no problems at all with my D-link one through the VM supehub in modem mode.

hi
if its VM SUPER HUB THE ONE WITH THE BIG BUTTON WITH vI**** What I did was go into the router 192,168.0.1 user name password written on the router.(admin/password is default) go into "advance settings" ,,security,, portforwarding and setup your box and port in there name your box "vuplus " as an example, enter your boxes IP 198.162.0.*** ,,set protocol to TCP&UDP,,,, i used my port as start and end example 1300 1300,, TICK ENABLE and Apply hope this helps if your already done this sorry but i didn't see it in the thread :)
