what i am after is a channel list, (catseye), as said, i could load it via db edit, but been through the menu,s, and cant find an option to download directly from the unit

@ Basilyoung, upload a set from our Enigma2 section.

@ Canthackit. Check your TV settings for overscan sections or picture horizontal picture size / width. Had a similar issue with on fashioned hitachi yesterday, but managed to adjust the TV for all to fit.

@ Oldskulride, we need to look at SD skins in future.

just been having a run round on the new image

Little tip, to show the event progress bars as in this screenshot, do the following: -

Menu > Setup > System > Customize > Set 'Show event-progress in channel selection' to yes

I've found one bug: I've played AVI from the mounted drive, subtitles works OK, but NOT after SKIP 3,6,9. The same video and the same srt worked OK in PLi.

Have you tried this with latest official image? Could be a bug in the source.

i am having problems guys.

softcam set up.

i have downloaded cccam 214 and when i click on it to start it it says starting then when i click again it still says active cam: none. 1 cam installed.

if i go to the 192 page :16001 i get nothin.

any help?

I can confirm that cccam is working ok

i take it you have installed the cccam.cfg in var etc??

nope but i have put it in etc as per most enigma 2 images. besides it wont matter if i have a config file or not. cam wshould still run.


i need to wait now as she is recording BB will let you know. incidently when i first installed the image i got 2 green screen crashes when trying to open cool epg.

Check /media/hdd and you should have the 2 crash logs from when you had them. Can you please upload them here?!

opps typo error...yes etc...been a long day
regards to cool epg, again no problems here, although I to had a few green screens, but this was due ( i think) to the unit not being fully set up (hard drive/channel list)

If you could upload your error logs, then will help us to check whether it is anything with the image or just a general setup probs...
