asking for a friend if the reason can be found from the log. Case is that Vu+ Duo4K SE uses wlan and when the box wakes up from deep standby the wlan settings are gone and lan connection is enabled. After restarting the box, wlan settings are back.

The debug messages say the wlan adapter is not found. Is it a USB plugin device or does the Duo have wlan built-in? A dump of dmesg may show the reason.

I'm confused.

Restarting the box should be the same as starting it up from Deep Standby.

Well, almost - I actually have an et8000 where in internal capacitor(?) needs to be charged so any start-up from Deep Standby involves a reboot, to ensure that it is.

Can't see that this would apply here, though.
