you could copy the sky provider file, edit the name in the XML to create your own, and remove any channels you don't want to HD swap (e.g. BBC1) from the swap list.

ABM has been changed so swaps occur in teh bouquets too. If you don't want to swap, just say no in the settings.

I a so sorry to be such a newbie(although had box a year), but had ZZL working and was perfect, although recently One,Atlantis,Living etc disappeared but as I dont like to risk changing my ideal setup I left it alone. Anyway, wife was left alone with TV for 2 minutes and somehow messed all the TV listing bouquets up, went into providers and no Sky ZZL to select. I restored it to a back up and was fine again, but I tried an ABM scan and lost the layout of channels again.

Why has ZZL gone? The ZZL XML IS showing when I FTP to my box.

Also once resolved above how should I get the missing channels back?

Hello All,

Before I changed to Hades (dont think it has anything to do with this issue but you never know) I had the SD / HD setup fine, but since my reflash I cant get the settings quite right.

I had it set to it would give me the channels on #1 BBC1HD, #2 BBC2HD, #3 ITVHD, #4 C4HD, #5 C5 SD

The important bit was that Channel 5 was the SD version and since my reflash channel #5 is C5HD which is unviewable.

Can someone confirm what settings I need to put in please>

You don't need the Luke's xml file. His coding to exclud unavailable channels has been incorporated into the main xml.

Your location must be followed by custom. Not HD or SD.

The default provider file in Hades has an SD,HD and Custom entry for each location.

If I go to Menu->Setup->Service searching->Autobouquetsmaker->Providers I have 4 options:-Freesat(uk), Sky Republic Ireland, Sky UK and Sky UK(SD), all are set to "no". If I change Sky UK or Sky UK(SD) to yes and cycle through the areas I get all in SD and all in HD and that is it, no custom.

I think you should Flash Hades 08.

Hades 08 now there, custom provider chosen, fresh scan done. But not the sky channel number tv list and includes HD rather than freeview HD and SD sky.
