Box keeps coming out of deep standby

I have a vu+ duo box with ViX 2.3 (I've done the latest updates to build 107), Every morning since the update the box keeps coming out of deep standby by itself, this didn't happen with 2.2.

I installed 2.3 on Monday, since then the last 3 days when I wake up at 8, the box is already out of standby. Last night the box switched on at 3.58am.

I have auto update epg set up to update everyday at 12.00am (crossepg) and I've set the box to go into deep standby at 3.00am, No recordings have been set.

I have bbc one set up as the startup service default, but I had this set with 2.2 as well and didn't have this problem.

I'm using the ViX night skin.

I've installed few plugins, such as apple trailers, youtube, project valerie, vlc, fan control.

Good to see that you provide us a lot of info!
I see no clear reason for this behaviour.
I suggest to turn on the debug logs, do an GUI-restart, and send us the log once this has happened again.

Funny though: on this forum someone is complaining about the exact opposite behaviour

First of all: you have PowerManager enabled: why is that?

To have deep standby set, which is set to go into deep standby at 3.00am

I had power manager enabled with 2.2 as well but didn't have this problem.

Yeah, might have to ask several silly questions, as I still see no obvious reason.

I am having this issue too, I have a VU+ Duo, recently upgraded to Vix 2.2. I dont have power manager installed but do have the EPG to automatically update overnight.

This is the same setup as in 2.2 but in 2.3 every morning i wake up the box is on.

Damaster: You said in your post that your box came out of standby at a specific time, how do you know that? Is that in the logs?

I woke up because I could hear the fan when the box came out of standby, I disabled power manager last night and put it in deep standby mode manually, and the box didn't come out of standby automatically so I think I'll leave it disabled.
