[VU+ Duo] In need of help:)

When I initially installed VIX there were loads of satellites to choose from in the tuner wizard and as per Pheonix's instructions I set them to:

configuration mode. Simple
Mode Single
Satellite 28.2E Eurobird 1..Astra 1N/2A/2B/2D
Send DiSEqC No.

Then when I installed Silverfox's bouquet the tuner defaulted the satellite name to: silverfox0786, which I have learned is because the satellite.xml files also update with dbedit. The end result was a tuner config error and no channels viewing so I downloaded the satellite.xml details for Satellite 28.2E Eurobird 1..Astra 1N/2A/2B/2D and updated both references to satellite.xml in the relevant root folders. Upshot I still have an error when I try to select a channel.

I tried setting the tuner A in advanced to 28 east but still getting the error that the tuner is not configured.

When I do a scan it does pick channels up but I quickly cancel out of this to avoid my bouquets getting altered.

If anyone lives near bridgnorth shropshire or my offices in the west midlands I'd happily travel for lesson on whats going wrong with this one. any ideas guys & Girls

try doing a scan on 28.2 east it wont alter your existing bouquets just make sure you set clear before scan to yes.

yes this picks up channels and starts listing them. I'm using Silverfox0786's bouquets from the 1st April so assume they are current?

Are there any tuner updates / firmware that might need to be carried out?

I'm very appreciative of everyones help.

Any resolve on this? Mine arrived today and Im getting the same issue.

I can do an auto scan and have all my channels on 28.2.

I add the silverfox bouquet and I get the same tuner error. Be useful to hear if you fixed it...

I changed my silverfox bouquets for sgtflipflop, these work brilliantly. You need to get both the bouquets and picons then setup path to picon in dbedit then upload to VU+

try this and let me know if you have any problems. I'm just learning but its much more fun that a sky+ box, lots more bespoke options for recording and numerous other stuff.
