Hello,

Currently, the majority of users who have a "VU +" receivers , they have an internet connection.

==> Is there a plugin that allows us to:
- Download a new image directly into a USB with the receiver connexion without using my PC.
- Make a Buckup of the installed image
- Restart and install the new image

Blue Button> ViX> Image manager > yellow button.
This allows you download ViX images directly to a location of your choosing.

- Make a Backup of the installed image

Blue Button> ViX> Image manager > green button
This allows you to create a direct backup of your image and all settings.

- Restart and install the new image

no it's currently not possible to install a image in this way. you must extract the image files and place them onto a USB stick to flash the receiver.

Hello and thanks for replay,

I'm talking about a single plugin do all these steps one by one:
1) Download the last image in a connected USB
2) And Extract the zip file
3) And Save image installed if the user wants
4) And in the end, it will install the last image

no there is no single button to press that will do all of those tasks all in one go. As i pointed out you can download and backup images via the image manager easily enough. saying that if your already using a ViX image in the current 3.0 image series you can update directly from the receiver by using the software update option, which now also backs up your settings and bouquets etc.
