[VU+ Duo] Noisy fan with latest updates ??

With recent software updates iv noticed my fan becoming more louder, before it was a quietest out of my all my boxes but now its pretty loud, the options are the same, I opened the box up and theres no dust build up. Any ideas?

The fan is not controlled, so nothing can influence it. Apart from a defective fan.

As I thought, I know it was never controlled but just thought something might have changed, any suggestions on replacement fan? I have had it since around 01-03-11

On my Duo is the default value from VIX fancontrol "off". No noise and the box is not to hot.

That applies only to the standby state of the box (and then only when no recording is being made). Otherwise the fan is on.

For test i have switch "on". I cant feel or hear the fan. Maybe my fan is broken, I will look up.

So,

i have open my duo. The fan works, from the outside it is nothing to feel.

In the translation and function of HDMI-CEC but I still found errors. see screenshoot:



"regard deep sleep as standby" had no funktion on all VIX Images since 2.4. My TV is LG 42PJ350. When i turn off the TV, then my Duo goes only in Standby. With HDMI-CEC in the VTI-Image i can switch between "Standby" or "DeepSleep"
