Sorry, if I am breaking any rule.

I have read tens of pages searching for nan fix on new Vix3.0 557 build to no avail. ECM is shown as nan I want it shown as micro secs.

I need someone to post the link to the solution for me please and if no link could someone with this knowledge what file to download, where to download and folder to ftp in new vix image?

Thanks.

Which cam you using and please be mindful of forum rules and direction of tread.

I'm guessing he's using cccam 2.1.4 or below... only way to get this to work is to change the libgcc file (think that's the right one) to an older version. Although this can cause stability issues I believe...

I am using CCcam2.1.3. I would not like to use higher as I heard of back door vulnerability inside higher versions of Cccam.

I could be wrong though:confused:

i have been using 2.2.1 for well over a year without any problems what so ever, dont believe the hype about so called backdoors in CCcam.

Thanks for your help, I am using 2.1.3...please how do I change the libgcc to older version?

I will try 2.2.1 and revert back, however my RCU(remote control) freezes for few mins during channel change, I have to wait before it will allow me to proceed to channel selection. Could that be fixed or do I need to reinstall the image?

That shouldn't be happening & suggests other problems too.
I'd reflash to the latest version on
http://www.world-of-satellite.com/enigma2/openvix/

also, I use CCcam 3.0 without issue.

Thanks Rob, yes 2.3.0...
a simple typo can make a big difference.

Thanks to everyone that helped me with this issue. I have upgraded the image to 558 build and CCcam 2.3.0.
All is working very well now.

The only advantage of upgrading to 2.3.0 from what i can see is that it can understand the longer length ecm from TNTSat, although you still need to use OSCam in your box to decode the card as CCCam cannot read the card.

I think there are a few more fixes for other cards also included and a SID limit setting for Canal Digitaal & TV Vlaanderen cards.

There are rumours of a back door in CCCam 2.3.0 but as yet i haven't seen any concrete evidence of it. Personally i don't think there will be any more updates of this cam. I think after all the bitching that has gone on that Uvadi team won't bother with any more updates.

As soon as 2.3.0 came out people started spreading rumour of a back door and all sorts.

Talking to friend using 2.3.0 not on this forum, said soemone was changing his channels remotely plus left a note on display to contact if he required server management. He quickly re-flashed his duo and downgraded to 2.0.11. How far this is true I don't know.
