Yeah, this is an issue that we are aware of and it is evident in all the receivers in one form or another. We suspect that this might be a driver issue and it's currently being investigated.

This doesn't happen with the ET-5000, everything seems to work fine...

Yes, played stream until the end, it then reverts to the movie filelist screen from which I need to exit and then exit again to leave the ondemand plugin.

Then its back to sat station with no freeze.

Yeah, that is the issue I am referring to, the bug is that it doesn't return directly to OnDemand...

I don't get any issues myself with video freeze on my Duo but each receiver seems to handle it differently..

I have added a new search option to the menu for the RTE Player. I will look into whether this will be possible for the other players as I get to them....

One small wish: would love to see an OnDemand thread that has all the latest updates in the first message of the thread.

Its hard to keep up with the changes and improvements with the different versions showing up in a long thread like this.

As it's still BETA then it is kinda all over the place, only doing updates when I get time... When it is released properly a full list of functionality will be given!

I will instead just keep updating the full OnDemand zip on post 1 to keep all updates in the one place!

Ok, last one for today, a search menu item has been added to 3 Player (New zip on post #1).. This will keep us Irish happy for now anyway, next for foreign relations

no episode found error in BBCiplayer ( sport ) now fixed with thanks to Mickd for providing the fix. This fix will be on the GIT soon but here is the fix incorporated into the OnDemand plugin and working now.

Ok, todays updates added to post #1.

Main Changes:
bbciplayer.py - New Search menu option and also include MickD's fix above
rteplayer.py - Move Search menu option to first menu item
threeplayer.py - Move Search menu option to first menu item

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to add search option to 4OD or ITV, I had a quick look earlier and it didn't look possible. I will have a better look later and post a code update if it is.

There is probably no need for a search function in the ITV or 4OD players anyway as everything is listed alphabetically. Thanks & keep up the good work

I've tried this on a VIX 3.0 build 626 running on a GigaBlue HD 800SE, everything installs and runs but there is no audio in any of the plugins. Ive rebooted the box 3 or 4 times but no audio (over HDMI) Is this a Gigablue problem or is there something else I could try? I've tried the Audio button to see what's detected but it shows 'undetermined' ..nice plugin btw..

I'm not aware of any issues re the Gigablue, no others reporting it anyway. I had seen others saying they had no audio until they rebooted but as you say you have tried this already..

Maybe wait until someone else confirms that they have it working on the GigaBlue HD 800SE, I don't have one to check this for you..

Ok, I have managed a search menu option for 4OD (Updated zip on post #1) but it has it's flaws:

1. The returned thumbnails are of very low quality.
2. The search is based on channel4.com as where we get our feeds from ps3.channel4.com and some shows end up not existing.
3. The search results don't contain very much data (Name & Icon only)

Apart from the above it seems to work well, I hope..

Do you have the audio down mix set to no? You need to set it to yes to get audio in the plug in to work.

Ok, last but not least - I have added a search option for ITV Player also (Uploaded on post #1).. It is a bit of a fudge job but it's working well.
