Not configured for debug logs, I'm afraid. Only other plugins are 1Channel and buyukbang - neither of which I really use. I'll uninstall these, set up debug logging and test again...

Is your issues happening with all of the players or only some of them? A debug log will help, we can't really help without this..

Also, what is your broadband connection speed like?

I've only really used BBC iPlayer so far - I'll test with a few others. Broadband should be fine (UPC cable modem - 30Mb)

Ah man, can I have a debug log from after you have attempted to play a 4OD stream and you get this error? The above log doesn't contain any data from OnDemand....

Try rebooting the box after you get the problem it will then write a log with the date and time of the reboot.

There would be some displays from OnDemand, if even the ones where it shows the thumbnails are being downloaded..

i did exactly the same and have send the only debug log that i had . here is again debug log right after the problem and i had to restart box to get this log . also i only get this message " problem retrieving stream url " and there is NO crash of my system but only counting to 4 and message disappearing

That is the log from after the reboot. You should have a log previous to this one? It will contain the debug info I am after...

sorry but there is no other log , no crash log and no debug log other than this one . log file is empty i deleted all of them right after the problem with " problem retrieving stream url " and tried to find the right debug log , and i'm repeating the process again and again but only log is after i restart my system .

i will uninstall plugin , install again , and if nothing happend i will go back on build 627 when last time worked OK ... and inform you

Why are you deleting them??

Restart your Duo and then try to play a 4OD stream, making sure that debug logs are turned on. As soon as you see the "Problem retrieving stream url" then use some FTP software (I use FileZilla) and navigate to /home/root/logs/ and upload the latest one on here..

i deleted them after first error message so at the next message to find the right debug log .
well i uninstaled the plugin , restarted , installed and restarted , tried all players and all are working EXCEPT the one that I use the most 4OD again with "Problem retrieving stream url" and in log file there is only one and its from restart , but i will upload it again . there is no other debug or crash log , i'm also logged with FileZila navigated in /home/root/logs/

i can see from filezila after every error message - log file is bigger in Kb. so i guess there is information about error in this debug log ?

There is something funny going on with your setup, you should have a debug log..

Anyway, I changed the code on my machine so that it thought I needed the Geo unblocked and I too got the same message, this was in my debug log:

wgetUrl: Exception:  HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error

There must be an issue with TUNLR using this 4OD url or the 4OD server is blocking the request. I will need to look into this further but it will be Wednesday before I get a chance as I am away now for a few days..

Then it seems there is a problem with the GEO unlock with 4OD as mac has said.

Hopefully this is not a sign that they are activly blocking the method we use to bypass the geo lock, and that it can be fixed.

thats realy bad news , i hope you guys will bypass the geo lock . for me this plugin is THE BEST plugin ever that have hit enigma2
