Move from Blackhole to Vix

Hi Guys
My VU+Duo2 arrived 3 weeks ago with a 1 terabit internal hard harddrive and with Blackhole preinstalled i have since up dated with the latest version but having trouble with my external USB hard drive hub.
I can mount the drive then then you have to reboot and sometimes it see the dvd's on the drive and sometimes you don't, and sometimes they play then sometimes they don't.

Is Vix better handling USB hard drive?

Do i just flash vix from usb stick same as black hole and it will overwrite whats on the dics or do i need to format it?

yes the flashing process for ViX is the same as BH and all other images for that matter, you should not need to format the hard disc if it's already setup in BH but if there is nothing on there you would not mind loosing it may be a good idea to set it up again and format it via ViX.

yes bh is set up and running and happy with it except the USB hard disk problem which I need to get going as I have well over 1000 dvd's to put on to hard disks and not sure how many already on my iMac and seperate 2 terabyte disks.
