[GiGaBlue QUAD] mediaportal crash downsreaming

after a while i launch streaming it crashs, all channels some first other with more delay.
i have the log but how can i send to you from the decoder? . On log info it asks for email wich i don't have

My box also crashes when I use Mediaportal and Tsmedia, soon as I start streaming box crashes and reboots...very annoying. Used VIX apollo 41 but have had this for most of Apollo

Crashlogs are saved to /home/root/logs/ by default.
Please FTP into the box, retrieve the logs & upload here.
Sounds like external plugin issues though.

I'm getting the same. Get to see maybe 5 secs of porn before it crashes ha ha does the same in tsmedia when streaming.

Took a few attempts - seems some P sites work and others don't. Recreated issue and here is the log

I will pull mine tonight. It seems every attempt at streaming causes these crashes, albeit with what looks like (at a glance when error comes on screen) different reasons. I have had it on media portal P channels, along with various films on tsmedia etc. It literally plays a few seconds and then dies. I have a TM box though so will put my logs in the TM section unless someone tells me to add them to this thread at some point today?

could you try the attached py file put into /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Converter ? You must restart E2 after you put the file there. Perhaps make a backup of the corresponding pyo file in case something went wrong.

The build is stable, but we have no control over how these frankly illegal plugins interact with the image. It is the plugin creators responsibility to maintain compatibility not ours.

As for Pheonix (isn't the correct spelling Phoenix? ) -

Surely what is important is that *any* form of streaming via a plugin seems to be causing crashes regardless of it's legitimacy and it's best to bring this up in order that the team can investigate and resolve? If all streaming is causing crashes and it is being experienced with different plugins, it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that maybe the issue was with the image and not the necessarily the plugins themselves?

Hi,
the problem is not what you stream from where. The problem is gathering information of the stream and there gstreamer gives sometimes no information.

Have you tried my changed file? Can you take a look at your stb if you find something similar to "/proc/stb/vmpeg/0/xres" which you can test with cat /proc/stb/vmpeg/0/xres and it should give you the x-resolution of the current video.

Trial, putting that in caused the box to go mad. It would start up, last maybe 10 seconds and then crash. Kept doing it. Reset with the rocker switch and now seems ok. Let me know if u need logs

I have the same problem. Most Streams ok, but not all.
Today i have found a bad file. The Duo2 crashes after 1-2seconds after begin the Stream. Same failure in MediaPortal and TSMedia and does not matter whether I use MoviPlayer or TSPlayer. But when i download the same file with TSMedia to HDD and Play the file from HDD, he is played without problems.
possibly require the MoviPlayer only a bigger buffer for onlinestreams?
