Just completed an online update to build 117 and after booting it says tune failed - check tuner configuration.

When I checked it both are set to simple / single and automatic was chosen for satellite. After a reboot I checked and the tuner said not configured so I configured it, then it said finding satellite and hung for ages, pressed red to abort and nothing happened.

Am currently rolling back to 115.
I didn't see any issues noted on the forum so wondering if it is an issue or just me?

Thanks
Dec

Forgot to say, no crash logs as there is no crash, am back on 115 now and all working

yes we are aware of this issue, it can be fixed very simply by downloading a new satellites.xml file from post below then FTP it to /etc/enigma2/ and reboot your receiver.

Great thanks guys, apologies didn't think to check the changelog thread. I just looked at all the recent threads and reviewed the tuner ones.
I'll keep an eye on the twitter account now, didn't think to check that

No worries, I maintain both accounts and try to make sure they are updated with any ViX related news as much as possible.

That satellites.xml didn't fix the problem for me on a duo2. Flashed back to 115. Knew I should have waited for the tea break rather than updating between overs :)

From my Duo 2 - an error dump.

Looks like there's an issue with the LCD running text stuff when there is no service name. If I caught it quick enough and got to the freeview DVB-T tuner it avoided the crash.

Hey, I'm not moaning. I fully expect problems at times installing unstable updates and I am quite prepared to reflash, after all it doesn't take long. :)
