Has anybody had any issues with the Ghost HD skin crashing their boxes please???
Is a lovely skin, and would love to keep it, but keep getting green screen of death!

Hey Ford,

I have read somewhere here that the Ghost HD skin crashes a lot. The only skin fully supported is the VU HD +. I have use Kerni HD1R2 myself but it's not great. I use to like Ghost very much but VU HD + has now grown on me.

although problems with HDD WD 1.5TB intern in new image 1.3.
in old 1.2 the HDD runs perfect without problems...

I installed Cam 2.2.1 and ecm times now showing.
I had 2.1.4 in vix 1.3 previously

vix does not use script to start softams, just enable autostart for each cam in the order you want them started in

I reflashed box again, now Ghost HD very stable.
Give it a try?
Beautiful skin. I like the retro to digital clocks on info bars )
Sweet touch, as well as the Ghost Busters Mute icon, lol

skins are still in beta unstable state in vix they will be looked at

i am in the process of learning how to adopt skins

Inverto Multi Connect System ???
Very nice.
I am a Radiocomms Engineer, and take a geeky interest in all that Microwave stuff, lol, tho I have a motorised system.
Looking at what you have, I'll wager that there is alot more gain to be had, over a motorised system!!

i'm a true beleiver of the motorised system too thats why my 1.2 channel master is a motor setup had for over 15 years now but i wanted to try the multiconnect although only giving limited positions its a much faster system as you dont need to wait for the dish to move into position
but that said i aint eben hooked it up yet as its been snowing and i got it just weeks ago from sponsor

btw thts only half my stuff as my sig has a limit to how much i can add lol

once hooked up ill be taking pics and for the record the current octo inverto i got gives me 100% or full white bar on the sly hd doggy box and 95% on my duo and solo

you seem to have a few good ones on your hand too but me i'd stay way from clones my self cant be dealing with the trouble they give.

the skins at the moment any that are on the vix plugins page are safe any others are potentially unstable so i would wait till they have been tested and ported.

Just for the record guys (I know this is prob going off topic now). I tested a 1m Orbital Dish against a Triax 1.1m, both fitted with Inverto Twin LNB and found the Orbital dish got highest signal strength on Thor 1deg.

ahh reading night mare i aint been there in about a year actually yes about 11 months ago

ghost skin is a popular one i i now one of the guys is looking at it to try fix i am looking at a few of the kerni skins

vix is a brilliant image and is getting better i think if dvb-t was finaally implimented some how then it would becomde one of the top images around

andy has worked very hard with this and it indeed worthy of comendation
