I promise you there is no option there. Try for yourself

its there

press blue button

then go down to VIX ok

thn go to settings

you will see it there 3rd line down just bellow choose epg location

maybe for others who still have picon location in their vix settings try doing a software update.
blue button>software management>software update

OK
After install picons via plugin, I found them as usr/share/enigma2/picon
I manually copied to /hdd, they now work in epg.

Perhaps a recode to have plugin locations read by epg in next version ?

then you need to reflash as you have all the updates incliuding the autolocate one and if its not autoloacating then you have a fundamental error some where

I don't have picon location either in the vix menu. Only epg location.

Using v1.3 with full online updates.

Is there an issue with my image?

which of the epg servers is the best to use? and can i enable them all?

crossepg with opentv if your on 28.2

then you need to reflash as you have all the updates incliuding the autolocate one and if its not autoloacating then you have a fundamental error some where
.

I have tried that several times, latest being last night. Clean re-flash, followed by update. Sometimes I get the impression you don't listen to people. I know you are busy etc

reporting back. after i moved the picon folder to media/usb and enabled the VIXEpg to usb. everything works beautifull. thanks guys

excellent glad to have helped and that you are sorted now as well :)

Lately I've had some problems withe the channel list. Some of the channels on Thor have changed transponder, and when I did a search, the new channels did appear, but some of the other channels are now showing black screen. PAT not found in PID, or something like that, is the message I get. When I then try to search manually on the given transponder, the tuner finds only one channel, where it should be 8 - 10...

Some of the new channels is also a bit difficult, to put it that way. Sometimes I get black screen on those as well, but with some zapping the picture appears, most of the time at least. The signal is very good (beween 93 and 99), and I hav tried both new and old satellites.xml.

Any good advice..?

PS: I'm not suggesting that this is an image issue, but a few of my friends running other images, do not have these issues.

Mgcamd, can anyone tell me in which folder the cfg files are supposed to be, and where I can find them (it), in order to put them where they need to be? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is so that one get only the CAM itself, and not the cfg when installing this kind of plugins..?

I use the Vu+ Duo behind a proxy, and thus it cannot access the Internet, as there seems to be no proxy support yet.

Is there a way I can manually download the updates / plugins from the VIX update/plugin server and install them manually?

I really like the VIX image, but without the updates it's too unstable. Thanks.
