Wifi USB working?

How do I get Wlan D-link DWL-G122 working in Vu+Duo with ViX 2?
I downloaded both extension drivers, but no wireless adapter detected.

only some versions of this device work with Enigma2. I have a WL-G122 H/W Ver B1 which does not work. I think H/W Ver C1 does work ok.
If if isn't being detected it probably isn't one of the working versions.

Mine seems to be H/W ver E1 F/W ver 5. It worked fine with Vti-image. I'm puzzled.

I had wifi working no problem on VIX 1.2 and 1.3, but its VERY unreliable on VIX 2.0
It works on a cold boot but after a normal reboot or GUI rebott it doesn't work.
I tested 3 USB wifi dongles and got the same results (all OK on VIX 1.2 1.3)

Same experience as me. I have confidence andyblanc has a fix soon.

I'll just flash back to 1.3 untill theres a fix.

not seen any issues, the only one is when you swap from LAN to WLAN you a full reboot

I'm using the same wifi stick as the OP and experienced these issues.

The drivers should be installed, then the receiver shut down > Plugin wifi stick > Switch on > Go to wifi settings and enable > Then reboot.

Removed wlan-rt73 from the image. Installed the attached wlan-rt73 package and rt73 file from this post at PLi forum:

Now my wifi dongle works as supposed.

I've just reflashed with the public relase of ViX 2.0 and am having no issues with a D-link DWL-G122 using the driver in the plugin feeds. Make sure you choose wifi driver rt2870.

Done that but not working.

Un-install the driver, unplug the wifi stick, reboot.

Re-install driver with wifi stick un-plugged > Reboot.

Plugin stick > Reboot.

Go to Network > Select Wifi adapter > Scan wireless networks > Select your network > Enter your encryption key and set your encyption type. Press ok. Once actived do another full reboot.

When you reboot make sure you hold down standby button on the remote and select restart.

Done that but Wlan D-link DWL-G122 USB is still dead. There is no Wlan plugin to configure Wifi. Lan adapter is only visible.

If you cant see the Wireless network adapter in Setup > System > Network I suggest re-flashing. Once flashed, first thing to do is a software update, Blue button > Software management > Software update. Then go through your setting up again. It defo works, i've got the exact same stick.

Now I've done it all over again but I still can't get my Wlan visible, Lan only. I must be missing a component or then my D-link USB version just doesn't fit with that driver in ViX 2. In VTi it worked fine. My Sundtek DVB C USB works fine with ViX 2.

This might explain the issue. Mine is H/w C1 F/W Ver 3.00.

Yes, so sad.
I have three Wlan sticks:
D-Link DWL-G122
TP-link TL-WN821N
Belkin F5D9050B Wireless G Plus MIMO USB Network Adapter #6 (complies with RSS-210)
They all work perfectly with PC but None of them works in Vu+Duo ViX 2.
Do I have any hope with these in the future or should I try to find somewhere the one that works?
