Wifi USB working?

would like to try vix 2.0 but no wireless is holding me back.

Yep me too ..had to go back to vix 1.3 to get my Belkin F5D7050 working ... with 1.3 it is recognised straight away..

plugin your stick
reboot
telent in (do not touch your remote)
type:

dmesg &> /home/root/dmseg.log

and then post here.

thanks guys, i need this file (/home/root/dmseg.log) to se what going on.

what wifi module do you have installed ? you CAN NOT install RT2870 & RT3070 at the same time.

this stick is not been detected at all, trying remove your DVB-T and plugin the wifi in the front port, and redo the dmesg please

Put it in front, no dmseg file and I can see it in network (railink rt73 wlan adapter)

good, are you using usb hub ?, how was attached before ?

no hub, had it in top usb slot at back, have tried to configure settings but it keeps failing network test .

Are you able to scan and connect? If so forget about the test, second one fails even hard wired for me.

you set your encryption type as per your router? wep, wpa2 etc...?

back to 1.3 now with working wireless, if i could get my dvb stick working this would be the perfect image.

Just to let you guys know we're expecting a sample of a Wifi 'N' adapter that should work fine with ViX images. Sample should arrive tomorrow / Friday, once fully tested we will post details.

Any word on this "N" adapter.
