Which TV/Satellite receiver without video Encryption should I buy ??

Hi Guys,
I am all new to understanding video copying and everything that surrounds it.
I know what I want to do.
But don’t know how to go about it.
First of all I live in the UK.
I have a satellite dish.
I watch freesat on my TV.
I have an LG 4K TV set (which I would like the device to have support for)
I have some spare cable coax connections coming off the LMB on the satellite dish.
I would like to connect these connections to some type of media reception box that did NOT encrypt the incoming video .
Then I would like to send that video signal to my PC running Microsoft Windows 10.
And be able to record it ,obviously without encryption been on.
I would like to send it by way of 1 Gigabit Ethernet connection,
SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support (will be used)
as I already have my house set up with router switches and so on for my network.

I have been advised that this would work?

Would anyone agree with this?
Or have any better suggestions on what to buy?

I can watch all my recordings via kodi in any room, Kodi does not do anything special in regards to decrypting so I would say there is no encryption, I am movoving a recording over to the PC hard drive and will try playing it natively to confirm

All Enigma2 receivers record in ts format and you can play them on any media media. They are not encrypted.

You would be better off making the HDD of the receiver available to other devices on the network and they can copy/play it on the network. Or even setup your E2 receiver to record on a networked device. You can even stream live broadcasts from the receiver.

Bear in mind that to get the most out of any receiver with an FBC tuner, you will need a unicable LNB. That being said, it is not a must.

If I could jump on this thread rather than start a new one I would appreciate help with deciding a receiver also please. I currently have a AX HD61 and find it very good but due to the hisilicon chip it is unable to record streamed content without changing stream type to 1 which then causes playback issues. I am looking at replacing it to gain the ability to record streamed content as well as adding fbc tuners for ability to record more than 1 sat channel at a time while watching another. these are the 3 receivers I was looking at....

Just a comment on the giga4K‘s ….. unless you want a slightly larger lcd and a few minor features, gbue4k is the better price performer

Love my Giga UHD UE, great bit of kit, but dont use IPTV so cant comment on that
