I’ve been testing a beta image and found an issue.

I’m not sure if it’s a faulty receiver or driver issue.

Anyone have a Zgemma H17 with a dish aligned to Astra 28.2 able to do a test for me? Is so please reply here.

I'm on 28.2.

I tried numerous images on the H17 and the only one I could get to work with my dish was openatv.
I suspect you're correct about the driver issue.

Can you test AutoBouquetsMaker. I'm pretty sure its pre-installed on OpenATV in the Tuners and Scanning menu. Its its not installed it will be available in their Plugins feeds, but I'm sure it is.

Test with BOTH Freesat UK and Sky UK please. Let me know if it scans and completes.

On openAtv 7.5.1 autobouquetmaker fails for both SkyUK and FreeSat UK.
The only workaround I found was to use AutoBouquetsE2 28.2E.
Hadn't used it for years but it worked.

ABM works perfectly for my Saorview on the image and I'm using ABE2 28.2 for my Satellite feed.
Not ideal but the combination is working.

Theres an issue tuning UK Freq's with ABM by looks of it. I've reported it to Zgemma. So either they fix it or we won't be releasing an image.

Yes,I tried OpenPli and some other obscure image...Egami I think and both had the same result.

You referenced Saorview when you said you tested ABM. It may be because the Irish terrestrial system is DVB-T based and the UK system is a mix of DVB-T and DVB-T2 where the issue lies in the terrestrial tuning. The 28.2 issue is presumably also driver related on the satellite side.

Terrestrial providers on ABM are working fine. Seem its just the UK Satellite providers. Tivusat worked fine.

Maybe it is not capable of handling auto dvb settings. Does the same thing happen with satfinder on 11426H?

Ah - ok @Sicilian. When you mentioned UK frequencies I assumed you were talking about Freeview's mix of DVB-T/T2.

You'll need to FTP to the receiver and find the Freesat xml.
