ZgemmaH17

This box must (?) have muliboot, so if in openatv choose blue button on remote and then flash online…should find the zip file if installled on the usb and flash it… preferably to different slot

ATV's "flash online" works similarly to our image manager. He should be able to put the zipped image file on the hdd/usb in any of the following folders and it should pick it up and show in the "Downloaded images" category. It will unzip and flash.

/images
/imagebackups
/downloaded_images

This worked.I didn't unzip the file this time and the box recognised it from the usb via Blue button on OpenAtv.
Finally...My favourite image is on Slot 2.
I'll test everything is working and get back with the results.

Can confirm the image is working perfectly.
No issues scanning Freesat UK,Sky UK or Saorview.
Excellent.
Thanks to all Admin and Mods for your advice and patience.

I flashed the Openvix-6.7.013.004.developer-zgemmah17combo_multi. in my Zgemma h17--in slot 1 (as a replacement old openatv 7.4).
Perfect, works correctly, fast.
I installed a few plugins, everything according to my tastes and like the one I had put in my other H7 decoder. In particular Wireguard VPN-E2iplayer (This plugin with its dependencies present in the image feed-)-linuxsat panel-Youtube by Tapatalk-worldcam plugin-xstreamity, about 3 different softcam. I configure LNB 1 for terrestrial channels, and LNB 2 for Hot Bird channels at 13 east (universal LNB), and I repeat, everything works correctly.
As mentioned, I have also had a Zgemma H7 for several years.
This new Zgemma H17 gives the possibility of installing 8 different images in multiboot (instead of the 4 images of the H7). And unlike the H7 it is a little faster in the various steps and at boot. The deafness persists -- like the H7 -- of the remote control.
I then installed, configured and tested all 8 possible images (for the sake of testing nothing more) - and in particular Openatv-Egami-Pure 2-ora Openwix-Openpli-Corvoboys-OpenTR-Cobraliberosat. All these 8 images - I installed them with the same setup and configuration, and they all work correctly. So 3 months after the purchase I can say that I am satisfied with the purchase of the Zgemma H17, which also has native WLAN on board

No strange behaviours to report.Been using it all morning and it hasn't missed a beat. The H17 is as good a box as my H7S.
I have it set up with my favourite skin and picons with all Irish terrestrial and UK sat bouquets.

Guys, could someone enable logs on their H17, then try and make an image backup.

Blue button > ViX > Image management > Make a backup image. Please let it time out and post how long it takes to timeout and the log.

Thanks guys.

Hello Sicilian,I'll give it a go later. Not sure what I need to do to share the log though, need to do some research first.

It has been running for around 45 minutes and has been stuck on "61/100 Backing up eMMC partitions for USB flash" for the last 40 minutes.
Does that sound right?

Edit:I've restarted the procedure,saving to root/home

I am guessing this is after reboot ... need the log before as this one doesn't show ImageManager.
Can you also change your log settings to show local time (better for old guy like me)

Hello Twol.
I'll have another go after work this evening.
Should I save the log to ext USB or home/root?
